Cottonwood Community Library is offering Beginning Sign Language classes. The classes are being taught by Jani Hanesworth and are open to anyone 18 years of over. Classes will be held in the library's meeting room and will run from April 28th June 16th on Monday nights from 7-8PM. The cost for the classes is $25 per person.

The student will not need to buy any materials. They will only need to bring paper and pen to class. There will be recommendations of excellent resource for learning the language, information on how the ear works, as well as information on the deaf and the hard-of-hearing impaired. Available websites will also be discussed. She adds: "I believe sign-language is a beautiful language and would like to share it".
