"BURNING BEARS FALL FROM THE SKY" by Peter Edridge.
A SPECIAL TREAT --The author will be joining our meeting and we invite you to come and hear Peter read from his book and share his experiences with us.BURNING BEARS FALL FROM THE SKY If you want to laugh out loud when reading a book, this is the book for you. The author and his wife came to our area from Marin County and proceeded to turn a shack into a beautiful home --- while meeting the inhabitants of Igo.
He loves the land and animals around him and reaches out to understand his very different neighbors.

Peter Edridge brings his British sense of humor to a wonderfully entertaining and sensitive work.
The August meeting will be on the 17th. The book will be chosen at the July meeting.
The book club is headed by Cheryl Walther, who reports, "Refreshments
will be served. This is intended to be an informal discussion of the
book of the month."
The titles for discussion will come from each persons personal favorite, or a book the
group has read about.
Come and enjoy the informal atmosphere, share your ideas and meet new
friends at the Cottonwood Community Library, "Love to Read Book Club".
