What liberal media are they talking about?

CBS? No, they are owned by Viacom, who is owned by National Amusements, who also owns MTV, BET, Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks. Wholly owned by the Redstone family, they are anything but liberal friendly.

NBC? You have to be joking. General Electric owns them. You know GE, the power plant and defense conglomerate. You are not going to find any liberals on their board.

ABC? Guess again. They are held by Disney, no longer the house that Mickey built, Disney is a huge corporation. Not friendly to government regulation or oversight.

FOX? I don't think you could find a liberal anywhere. (If Rupert Murdoch finds out they will be gone!)

PBS? They try to be truthful but Federal (Bush Administration) authorities lean on them. In our area "Democracy Now" airs at midnight.


The super rich and their Neo-Con employees have pretty much fooled the decent Republicans. They have been blaming the "Liberal Media" for anything that does not follow their "Less taxation of the wealthy" and "Less regulation of Big Business" propaganda. The GOP and the NRA of our parents' generation no longer exist. Even the Christian Church of our parents is gone.
It is a sad thing to realize that these organizations have been fooled into selling out America to Corporate greed.

And before you go labeling me as a "Wacko Liberal" , hold on a moment. I am very conservative when it comes to preserving our Constitution and to the waste of taxpayers money. I am also a Christian. Not a fundamental, born again, "Get out of Hell Free" Christian but an old time "Do the right thing in the first place" Christian. If that makes me a liberal then so be it. I have good company. Read this quote from George Washington. " As Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality."
And ,in support of a free media, he also said this: "If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."
